Don’t Miss Our First Ever Continuing Education Conference for NPs!

Hello there! How’s your weekend going? I’ve decided I just can’t wait any longer to reveal our next project here at ThriveAP. So, I am taking advantage of this rainy Sunday afternoon lounging on my couch with my laptop to share a few details. As a nurse practitioner, I love attending continuing education conferences. Not only are they a solid excuse for a getaway, conferences give us the chance to further our skills as NPs, help us to connect with others in our profession, and renew our career energy. Given my CE love, at ThriveAP we’ve decided to provide our very own continuing education experience here in Nashville, TN! 

March 8-9, 2018, here at ThriveAP we’ll host our first-ever continuing education conference for nurse practitioners. Here are a few F.A.Q. about the event:

What will the conference cover?

The conference theme is Emergencies in Primary Care. We’ll cover the red flags NPs must be aware of as they practice in the outpatient setting. Primary care, urgent care, walk-in, occupational health and emergency nurse practitioners and others will benefit from conference content. 

I’m not a nurse practitioner, can I attend the conference?

Of course! Students, physician assistants and other healthcare providers are welcome to join the fun in Nashville. “The more the merrier”, we say! 

How many continuing education credit hours will I earn?

While we’re still working out the exact number of continuing education credit hours attendees will receive, we do know you’ll walk away with a substantial number of credits over the course of the two-day event and will earn a handful of pharmacology hours to boot. 

Why would I want to attend a conference in Tennessee?

Nashville is a booming town! The conference will be located downtown with easy access to Nashville’s most popular attractions including famous Broadway where visitors can meander along the street enjoying live music at each and every bar and restaurant along the way. Whether you’re into good ‘ole southern cooking or upscale dining, Nashville’s food scene has an endless array of offerings, perfect for sampling after a day of learning. Get a group of coworkers together to try out one of the Nashville’s Pedal Taverns or take a comedic look at the city with Nash Trash tours. Whatever your mood, Nashville has something to offer.
