Do you ever take a look back at the life events that landed you where you are today? Do you wonder what might have happened if you had made just one or two different decisions in key moments? I do.
Had I not chosen to make college an adventure, attending school across the country, I may have never been exposed to the nurse practitioner profession. I never would have discovered the perfect solution for my hesitance to commit to medical school, the NP bridge program. Through my nurse practitioner program, I met a wonderful new friend who ultimately introduced me to my husband. You get the picture.
We all have these stories of fateful decision making, both good and bad. Though I often review my own life story marveling at the many paths I could have taken, I rarely ponder events outside of my own decision making that have paved my way.
